  2. Parametric estimating: In order to estimate the costs, this tool requires historical as well as statistical data for obtaining costs. Variables from various projects, which are similar in nature, are taken and then applied to the current project. Because it applies more than or equal to two data sets, its accuracy is higher than the analogous estimating.
  3. Three-point estimating: It utilizes the average of three estimates which are worth the cost most likely will be, what the optimistic cost is and what pessimism is involved in the cost. Due to this, any kind of unsurely, partiality and risk are reduced to a great extent. It is, therefore, more accurate than the previous two estimation tools.
  4. Bottom-up estimating: Being most accurate amongst all, it can only be used when each and every know-how of a project is available. It takes more time and is costly.
